The still life drawing focused mostly on what objects looked like when they aren't moving and are being shown light on to cast shadows. Some of the main elements that were put into the drawing were the value and form. The value was important because the lines weren't supposed to be as visible as much as just a change in shading. Also, the form is important because it shows the 3D shapes of the objects.

The principles of drawing that had importance though were the balance, contrast, and unity. I viewed these as the mos important because, it had to not be totally one sided, it had to show contrast to help show the light, and it had to be a complete drawing ready to be graded and critiqued.
